I want to revisit a quote I made from Calvin’s Institutes of the Christian Religion about the starting place for all theology, worship, doctrine and morals. This is what he said:

This is the memorial church at Jamestown. The tower dates back to the late 1600s, but the church behind it was built in 1907 as a tribute to the earlier churches that stood on the site.

My friend over at Stone Gate Farms called me yesterday to let me know the results of a recent Gallup Poll about pro-choice/pro-life trends in the US. It really was hopeful news. For the first time in a long time, there are now more Americans who call themselves pro-life.
